 Not how I expected duck season yo start out! Saturday afternoon I was running my boat and started hearing a knock. Long story short, I ended up tearing the engine down tonight. 2015 37 efi with around 150 hrs. Engine has never been opened up until today. While disassembling I found the port side connecting rod cap had a loose bolt. Warranty ran out around Memorial Day. Great start to my season. I’m probably just going to drop a 40 efi on the frame and rebuild the 37 over the winter.

Not how I expected duck season yo start out! That is the plan for the winter project! I’m a diesel tech, not a small engine guy, an engines, an engine to some extent, but I want to take my time when I rebuild it, so I’d rather get back hunting right away!
