Post Adjustments for a brand new 35 mud buddy
I recently had a new 35 horsepower Vanguard put on my mud buddy frame. They told me the idle would need some adjustments during break in. I have about 2 hours on it and I know the idle needs a bit of adjustment. Could anything else needed adjustment. It wants to stall a fair amount even when warm. It Puffs black smoke whenever you first start it. And once after running for awhile it backfired out the air filter and smelled like fuel.

Seemed to run much better today for opener. Maybe it was finicky yesterday as part of the early break in period.

After a few hours it's good to set the valves. The carb can also get the idle fuel limiters trimmed off and set correctly
