XD set up question regarding trim
I notice on my 37XD at the transom it has a bolt with 5 different settings to set up motor angle. What is the correct way to set that up. When I’m running, planned out and trimmed all the way up my prop is 6-8” under the water surface. Is that correct or should I be able to trim all the way up and prop be out or on top of water surface

Re: XD set up question regarding trim
You want the ability to overtrim some. Move bolt up and test it

Play with bolt position. On my boat, I got best performance on the top hole.

Re: XD set up question regarding trim
Thanks. I move it up one hole to top hole. Now I can get better hole shot and plain a lot quicker with less trim adjustment and I can trim all the way up until the prop is about half out of water. I think I’ll continue running it in that position.
