Everyone's stage 2 is different. A good stage 2 motor will be a a lot more fun to drive than stock. Load carrying ability goes way up also

PD is 36, 37 or 40. What year model do you have? CDI or NON-CDI? Will make a difference depending on your mods and what you want to do. CDI are protected by 4750 coils when adding performance parts. So your cam will dictate that. Non-cdi has no limiter and will spin to the moon and will blow up if you don't know what your doing. Each has plus and minus.

Exhaust is a very small piece of the pie when considering performance. Any free flowing exhaust will do just fine unless your in the "hey look at my new shiny $700 exhaust" crew. You can take a stock exhaust, gut it, and it will flow just as good as all these high end exhaust. You would need a dyno to tell the difference. AND....... they all crack at some time. its just the nature of the SS. When I did my mod on my old engine, Heads are #1. You can put all that fancy shit on it you want, but if the engine can't breathe, it won't run. Everything else you do after heads will be complimentary.

read this. I did mine in different stages and noted the changes when I modded my 07PD NON-cdi. Gives you an idea of what to expect. UNLESS..... you have a gen3 lower, then all speeds will be slower.

Are the gen 3 lowers slower because they are geared differently?
