Ive always had gtr with no governor with throttle cable hooked directly to carb. I recently was given a gen 3 36hp prodrive with around 80hrs. The idle was always off. When I turned the screwsa cunt hair behind the shroud rpm jumped to 2200 . I played with it for a while and can get it idle to 1200 but once I rev it up. It idles everywhere Any pointers? Usually when I get one that acts weird it's from partially plugged pilot jets, mis adjusted carb , leaking intake valves or even popped gaskets |
