Been out of the loop on Briggs for a while. We use to get some thicker exhaust gaskets from CP performance years back. Whats to gasket "goto" now? This briggs that I'm working on must have had a small exhaust leak and has a small pit in the flange surface on the head. Nothing a good gasket can't seal. I'm gonna have it resurfaced, but still need some gaskets.

Bps "fat" gaskets do the trick. I've also heard folks using old VW gaskets when in a pinch. I think they are a bit different tho

Cb performance. They're the thick ones.

Lol, I've never looked them up, when I'm ordering inventory I say fat gaskets and they know what I mean

Come on B-M, you are MMT OG and know how to use the search feature.

CB 2801 Gaskets work very well.

The kawasaki engines had thick gaskets. I bought some briggs gaskets for this build and they were paper thin. I knew they wouldn't work. Plus there are not alot of builder on the site anymore and with the new server swap, it's harder to find good info.
