 MudBuddy belt breakage I took my boat into the dealer for servicing a week ago. They tensioned the belt 'supposedly" to specs. Today, after running the boat on open water the belt broke. The oddity is that I replaced the belt about a year ago and I doubt it has 20 hours on it. Any ideas what went wrong? The motor only has 116 total hours btw. The dealer is new, I don't know if they goofed up or not. Thanks for any ideas.

Re: MudBuddy belt breakage I had a mb belt break in open water from a belt they used to sell. There is a new style belt from mb now that seems much stronger

Re: MudBuddy belt breakage What belt do they use? Gatortail uses the Harley Davidson belt and none of us have ever had issues with it

Re: MudBuddy belt breakage Somebody screwed up, I have a 2008 HD Sport with over 400 hours, have not messed with my belt in 5 years or so. I have the original belt, old style, not Kevlar and never had a problem with it.
