Long story short I bought the full carb kit from BPS with rev limiter and have talked to them multiple times about the proper wiring for the limiter but it’s not working. I’ve got too much throttle. This sum bitch will blow right past the 5000 rpm mark at half throttle. Any tips? Am I gonna have to connect the rev limiter directly to the coil wire?? |

The green wire should be hooked to the coil diode wire. This wire also runs to the key switch and kill lanyard switch. As a test, when wired correctly if u disconnect power from the red wire on the rev box the engine should not start or fire |

Thanks. I’ll try that in the morning. How does that work anyways on a carburetor motor? It just makes no sense to me how it can limit the rpms without an EFI motor. |

It cuts fire to the coils by grounding them internally at whatever rpm that yellow chip has written on it. #CFFITR #TheGhostBoat #whoneedsphysicsihaveamudmotor |

Ok got it all wired up but it was still running away from me. Discovered a broken wire that connects both coils to the diode. Reconnected that and now she works like she’s supposed to. Thanks guys |
