Reverse Pin Puller - another way
Got tired of wrestling with my motor any time I went down a dead end slough and had to back out. I've seen some of the pin pullers that are available, but since I like to tinker with stuff, and I'm cheap, i decided to do one on my own. I'm happy with the result, so here's some pics.
Since it's not obvious, a little explanation. The brake lever is used to pull the cable attached to the end of the actuator lever. The actuator lever is connected to the reverse release pin, which hinges on the bolt you can see on the back side. Made from scraps from around the house, so it cost me nothing. Works really well, release is simple and consistent now.

Shit. Not sure what's going on with the pics. Photobucket started charging so I said fuck that and looked for another place to host pics. Ended up with Google photos. If anyone can suggest a better place I'm on it like a hobo on a ham sammich. Funny thing is, the pics show up with your response that says you can't see them. Stoopid internet.

Instead of going through a hosting site, make each pic a jpeg or gif file on your computer and attach the file. Did it for the pic of my old dog below.

I tried that, didn't work for me.
Lemme give it another go... how's this? Comes in as an attachment for me, but hopefully you can at least see it.
Why can't I imbed it into the post itself?

Assuming this works, here's the original pics.
Hopefully this makes sense... order of pics came out backwards but here goes.

"But if it works, it works."
It's not dainty, but I don't want anything fragile. May get rid of that large spacer block at some point, but right now it works as is.
