PD trim unit dip stick question
I have a '08 PD with power trim and lost the dip stick. Can't seem to find one locally. Could I put a plug in it's place until I can get a new one and where do I find one online. Talked to a marine parts place today and he told me that it's an old style unit that they don't sell parts for so I checked a marine salvage place and he said he would only sell a complete unit. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: PD trim unit dip stick question
Do not buy that. I had a 07' PD that had the old style metal reservoirs and I decided to change them out to those exact ones because i could never see the level. Well I went through 2 sets in 1 season.
1) anything and everything will hit those tanks. decoys, any other shit in boat will hit them and they will crack.
2) Mine didn't like the cold temps. Got brittle.
These are the trim motors I went with.
