Had to do some maintenance on the Gator Tail reverse and now I have to put brake fluid back in, but I don't know which to use. I am not sure what was in it before, DOT 3 or 5. The manual I found online says DOT 5, but I have also read that with the older calipers, you should use DOT 3. The motor is a 2011. Anyone have any idea/input? Thanks. |

I think it would be dot 3 but you need to know for sure because dot 5 is not compatible with any of the other brake fluids. I would call gator tail or maybe maxxis or someone who knows will let you know for sure. |
