Anyone use a nylon lock nut to hold prop on ? Instead of nut from factory ? If so anyone know what threads shaft is on gen 4? |

A castle nut with a cotter pin is what's needed, I wouldn't trust a nylon lock nut. |

just stick a pair of vice grips on it. lol use the nut and the cotter pin. the self locking nut might fall off. |

Just went a got bunch of cotter pins right size , I’ll jjust put new one in when swap be easyier then fighting the old one |

throw a few of them in a ziplock bag and keep them in the boat with a big creasent wrench so u have it when u need it. |

Forsure gota extra prop in boat , gonna try get my mercury 3 blade where can run it good may have to send it to get pitch adjusted some for my 25 |
