Anyone have any info on the Hoss 75 tiller? I've heard various reports and none of them good. Anybody experimented with just putting one of their other handles on the Hoss and running it that way?? |

If you want a handful, find an old Harley predator long tail. |

They are using Mercury's hydraulic tiller and the last I heard, Mercury was not sure they would hold up to the abuse of a mud motor and didn't want to warranty them. I believe they are around $1500 and Mercury is holding Hoss back from selling them. This info goes back about year ago, but I am assuming nothing has changed. |

I talked to the owner last year and can’t remember exactly but I believe the quote was $18,500. He is doing the mercury tiller and is taking any warranty claims that my arise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I test drove one with Rodney and it was bad ass. I’m not sure if they are selling them now or not. |

a 150 merc with a tiller and a pirogue to go skinny would be a cheaper setup! lol |

The hoss has a gm engine on it with a merc gearset. It's a lot different animal than the normal option with the Briggs on top. I bet reliability isnt nearly as much of an issue with that thing. #CFFITR #GhostBoat #Whoneedsphysicsihaveamudmotor |

Does anyone know if this engine is direct injected. I had a 2.4 ecotec in a GMC Terrain. I hated it. The carbon buildup on the intake valve was terrible. It would start missing. Dealer wanted $280 for a carbon clean. A 30 min job. I ended up using CRC intake valve cleaner every 4000 miles to keep the carbon under control. It worked but I don’t you should have to do that. I don’t how similar the engines are related but hopefully it has regular mpfi. If so I feel like it will be pretty reliable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
