 New Cam, Any Have a 2017 4400 HDR with carb, any suggestions as to what performance cam to drop in her? I'm looking at the BPS cam and drop in some roller valves... Looking for Pros and Cons as to what performance will I see and what you guys are dropping in a motor like this? It's on a 17x54 Gator Trax boat w/hunt deck and a hammer blade.

Re: New Cam, Any I just put in a cam built by Marcus (Maxxis). Go that route.

Re: New Cam, Any The bps cam is fine, but isn't tailored to every build. Marcus and will wont cookie cutter the cam for what you're wanting. Itll complement what you're expectations are.

Re: New Cam, Any Roller rockers... I see people commenting No Offense Russ, But they have a place. You also with increasing ratio you also increase effective duration on the valve. Sometimes that can hurt or help.... People always ask what cam I need... Hell you need to ask the builder to get you a cam with the proper valve events for your expectations
