I’ve got a 2016 mud buddy 37 efi on my excel. If I’m up on pad running WOT, eventually the motor will just cut out completely like i just pulled the kill switch. I can let off the throttle and it’ll pick right back up and keep going and will do it again unless I back off the throttle slightly. Wondering if anyone else has had the same issues? Or some idea as to what the problem could be

Vacuum leak, fuel pump not keeping up with injector needs, one of the sensors having a bit of issue at full throttle? Will C or Marcus likely to give more insight into that efi than I can but at least there are a couple ideas.

I had a friend with the same problem and his was caused by a fuel filter. His was doing the exact same thing. That would be something cheap and easy to try.

Sounds like the high pressure fuel pump is getting weak.

Sounds to me like the hi pressure module isn’t staying full. I would replace fuel line, check quick connects, swap filter and low press pump just to make sure hi pressure pump can do it’s job

I appreciate the help! Gonna run through some options this weekend and see if I can’t get it figured out

One other possibility is a bad battery connection, or bad battery.

If the ECM isn't getting enough voltage, it will kill the engine as if you pulled the kill switch.

I was running an early 37 once, and every time I used the trim it would kill the engine because of the trim amp draw on the bad battery.
