Have a 2018 gtr 37xd and hunted last sunday when i got home and looked over the motor as usual noticed the motor is leaking a little bit of oil on the backside at the top looks like the gasket sealer may have went bad or isnt sealing.... so im not real sure about how to pull the planet housing and clutch off to remover that cover to re seal it... |

Common issue. It’s caused by vibration. One of the bolts loosened up on you. |

I got a customer with new 40’s on a dual rig. Both engines seep in that same spot. Its the up and down vibration of cylinder 2. Over the years everybody has learned their own tricks to solve it. |

Yamabonded it back together with red locktite on all case bolts.[/quote] Makes sense ill tear it down after season but doesnt leak enough for me to do it now.. only leaks if i make long runs wide open |

Prodrive does not come new with Kawasaki. That's aftermarket retrofit. |

I wish prodrive would put the Kawasaki's new out the shop. I loved my Pro-Kawi. I really debating between a new 40hp PD or a used PD and put another kawi on it. |

It is under warranty. You can have it repaired for free. They always leak at #2 cylinder at the second bolt above the top oil port and down to the bolt below the bottom oil port. anywhere in that area will be the oil leak. |
