I had a nice block that needed a bearing. Yes that bearing is about 250$ i did this on 2 junk blocks first. I drilled a couple holes in a dirtbike stand so the block pins fit into so the block could lay flat. 1 layer of cardboard for cushion. I warmed the block with a torch till about 225. Using my cam bearing tool i drove the bearing towards rear of block. Worked good with the block warm. On the first try with no heat I cracked the block hitting the driver with a big o hammer. With heat they moved much nicer. I built a piece of aluminum to position the block upside down when installing bearing. When time for install they must go in from the back side using the rear cover as a lineup. Watch bearing alignment tang, depth of bearing and oil feed hole alignment. I added a few drops of the green retaining only to about half the bearing. I stayed away from the oil feed hole with it. Bearing was in freezer, block was still warm. Bearing tapped in nicely

If we could get a bearing for 50 bucks then i would have invested in the briggs stuff, but at the cost of the bearings,,,, dam
