A Frankinstein Build
A gearhead machinist buddy of mine built an engine with miscellaneous parts and worked out pretty good. He was running an ol mag45 non cdi cut pistons bps rods with mikuni, 305 cam stock heads vodoo, He says ran good , tote a load good. During this once over we machined it for a wet setup, same pistons/ rods in it, same cam backed a few deg, a set of heads i built , and i prepped the Bd upper and stock lower. We set the fuel in the low 12’s after a few jet changes. The torque is very impressive. He runs it on a hurt cc gtrax with a hammer so the torque will be excellent. It was a fun day for us tuning on it, cold beer when we finished. Thats what its all about. 76 lbs torque 61 horses
