Starter/Electrical Issue
Happy Good Friday all. I wanted to reach out and see if ya'll could help me with a starter/electrical issue I am having. I have a 2019 Gatortail EFI 40HPXD
I am having an issue with my starter/key switch possibly.
Every now and then when I turn the ignition there is a slight clicking/noise coming from the motor, and the starter does not turn over.
I am able to jump the starter off manually with a pair of pliers, but this is a pain- as I have to remove the outer cover for the engine.
However, for no reason, the key switch will start working again and I can crank the motor with the key.
I was hoping with everyone's knowledge on here I could get some ideas as where to start troubleshooting.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Starter/Electrical Issue
The yellow wire from the key switch to the starter: replace it. Check the voltage on your battery while the key is turned and before. Clean all connections. Make sure your battery wires dont make any crackly noises when you bend them a bit along the full length.
