2015 37hp efi fuel pump
2015 37 hp efi starts and idles good but when I get on the step and run for a short time rpms drop off and it stops. Think its probably the high pressure pump although when I turn on the start key I can hear the pump running . Wonder if anyone has taken one of these pumps apart and tried to fix it? This is the high pressure pump on top of the engine.

It's also possible the high pressure pump is fine but the low pressure isn't feeding the high and it's running out. Pump the bulb and see if it helps.

Re: 2015 37hp efi fuel pump
Just got my boat back from the good people at GT and the fuel line was the problem. The inner lining of the fuel hose had become detached and collapsed under pressure from the LP pump. This was the original hose that came with the boat when purchased in Sept 2015.
