Do you guys spray your motors down with something before you get it in salt water? If so what do you use? Trying to keep the corrosion down although there’s already quite a bit on the block . Thank you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I hunt 95% in salt water. Have had my 4400HDR since 2017. I spray it down every time when I get back, and then after it is dried I have a mixture of 1/3 motor oil and 2/3 WD-40 in a spray bottle and spray her down and wipe. The oil helps lube and keeps the WD-40 on... Motor still looks brand new |

The oil helps lube what? I get that it assists with corrosion prevention, but there isn't anything on the external of the engine or frame that needs lubrication. It's all handled by engine oil or grease into an alemite/zerk. #CFFITR #mudmotor>physics |

Living on the Gulf in Alabama i wash down after every trip and use a product called INOX it works very good but is hard to find Sid Thysen at Fast Duck motors sells it 386 747 7652I spray it into the fan while its running also every bolt on my 4400 BD has al. never sieze the WD 40 and oil will work too Says Ronbow |

you are correct it doesn't LUBE anything on the outside... misspoke,,, I meant you can use it as LUBE to hit your springs on the carb shoot some down the throttle cable, shit like that |
