Makuni Carb Needle Ajust?

 Makuni Carb Needle Ajust? HSR 42mm Makuni Carb on my 4400 HDR MB. Live in Florida and changed out my main jet 2 sizes bigger then stock. Did this only because I added a Performance Cam, billet lifters, roller rockers and push rods to her, thinking I'd get a bet more HP. Well I saw a slight change but I'm running a little rich... Tried tuning it without loosing speed and I'm steady at 30mph (17x54 w/hunt deck) Gator Trax. Was wondering if I should change the pin positing and move it up one slot? Any advice?

Re: Makuni Carb Needle Ajust? the right way is to set an afr gauge on it for testing. not saying the performace will change much. to make it really respond may require updating the heads to match your new combo, porting intake, and a few other things
