Post subject:  Cylinder Heads - Mudbuddy 35 HD vs MAG 5000 Sport V

Can anyone confirm if cyl. heads from a 2013 Mudbuddy Mag 5000 Sport V (Vertical Shaft) will work on an older model 2005 Mudbuddy 35 HD (Horizontal)?

Also, does anyone know how many .000" milling/decking does BPS generally remove when modifying the MAG 5000 & 7000 heads?

I have been told that the Mag 5000 engines have a slightly longer forged alum. rod and milled piston when combined with the milled cyl. heads this increases the compression ration considerably higher than the older Mudbuddy HD. Was just wondering what the total compression ratio was on the Mag 5000 motor? Was Al at Performance V Twins the one that designed the original performance packagfe for the MB MAG 5000 :?:

I am considering using cyl heads from a Mag 5000 Sport V on a Mudbuddy 35 HD. I realize that I could benefit in performance from a small increase in compression ratio, but just didn't want to forfeit dependability and durability.
