The screw to drain the water out of the lower unit is not coming out. I have bent two screw drivers already anyone have any ideas??? |

Impact screwdriver. Or start it up and put it in gear for a minute. ![]() |

Make sure you got the right phillips head size. THe drill method with a clutch/impact devide will get it out or you need to put a screwdriver in and smack it with a hammer and push tight while unscrewing the plug. Really its not that hard to get it out.. Takes some "thinking" and "doing". |

if your talking about the one that faces forward toward the bow of the boat on the bottom of the belt housing... I finally removed that one and put a flat head once I screwed that one up I put in a hex bolt and have never had a problem since. |
