Anyone install a oil pressure switch on a 36 PD?

If so do you have a part number?

No, thinking of a pressure switch to run the electric fuel pump. No pressure, no fuel, no flooding!

But a guage may not be a bad idea either. Just don't want to get to far out as things seem to get knocked off pretty easy.

get rid of the fuel pump. switch to the vacume fuel pump that is on the 23brigs. it mounts on the headcover and has a brushguard.

i had problems with the origional 36 cam driven fuel pump vaporlocking just like most people. i switched to the vacume fuel pump and have had no more problems. i hate electric fuel pumps, too much to worry about.

and i run 25' of fuelline.

been working for over 600hrs on this motor.

call pd and ask about it, it may be a option for u.

yep, the electric pump fixes the problem, no doubt.

i just hate electric fuel pumps so i did sumthing differant. works fine on my rig. :)
