Don't know if this is the right spot for this question, if not I appologize. I currently am running a 18hp LT on a 16ft jon boat. I am looking to upgrade and have been scouring the local classifieds. I came across this rig and was hoping some of you that are more in tune with the market can let me know your thoughts.

I thought a Leaking Gasket was normal.... Only the coolest people have one. That means that you actually use the motor.

Good Luck with what ever one you purchase.

 That motor does have more tie wraps than a bakery.

Looks aren't everything to everybody, but that motor to me looks like it has seen better days. Unless you know the person, or know someone that can back it up, what they say the hours on the motor is, doesn't alway mean its true.

I concur Crews' motor is a much better deal.

FWIW.... I have 75 hours on my PD36, and it is starting to show the very first signs of case gasket leak. Everybody I believe has to deal with that sooner or later.

Since no one really answered your question about the motor you posted I will.. It's a 32hp Generac.. Well built motor but the carb/gov system is junk.. The case gasket won't leak on you but you will always be fighting that carb and gov.. Based on looks I'd say it's quite a few more hours than "<100".. If those hrs are correct then that motor has had the shit run outta it and not cared for..

210 hrs on Crews motor isn't many in reality BUT, have I got a deal for you.. LOL

2007 PD36+ long shaft, reverse and all the goodies.. $7000 shipped.. On the right boat it'll run 40+mph..
