 2 barrel carb for 27hp kohler

Post 2 barrel carb for 27hp kohler
Does any one know anything about putting a 2 barrel carb and intake on a kohler 27hp engine and what the possible outcome would be? I am thinking something possibly radical would happen.

find a 30hp intake and carb. It will be a 2 barrel carb. It will be a good upgrade. Or better yet spend a little more and get a Mikuni.
