How much
Hey guys... Just ordered a 38hp Kohler to replace a 25hp that was on my mudboat. I currently have an 11x10p prop on my mudboat now... what would you all suggest that I get done to the prop to match the motor?? I know to pitch up but don't know how much. Right now the prop has very little cupping and the motor turns around 3700 r's (over 20mph) with just me... 3300 (18-19 mph) loaded down. Those numbers are with the 25hp.
I'm gonna run my boat prior to installing the new motor so that I can get stats on speed increases and load carrying capabilities... The loaded numbers are solid... had my gps plenty of times this year.
Any suggestions?? Any bolt on mods out for this motor yet??
