i have a go devil frame that a 23 hp vanguard come off it and replaced with a 18 hp honda.. i talked to warren coco of go devil about changing the seals, shaft, ujoint and prop. he stated that the honda engines have longer shaft than the vanguards. Does anyone know the length of the vanguard shaft? i measured the honda and came up with 2 measurements from the engine back to the shaft end 3 1/8 and from where the shaft changes to 1 inch it is 2 7/8.

do i need to grind the shaft down?

what is the shaft length of this motor?
