I have EVTS muffler already. If I have EVT port polish and bore the heads how much gain will I see without their intake and the mukuina(sp?) Also would i need to change the jets in the stock carb and if so to what size? Will this give me a decent gain in power? Thanks, Dave |

Stock jets on my 36 were 138/142 (as viewed from the air cleaner side of the engine). After headwork (non-EVT) and BPS muffler, I jumped them to 142/148. The 138 jet was cross threaded from the factory and the screwdiver slot broken off, so I had to do a little cleanup in the bowl. Deadbird8 and netman have done some work on the stock carb and intake, they may chime in with more info. Drake1 or Silkpower would be the best source of info, considering the use of their components and work tho. |
