I have a 2004 25hp pd. The engine is a 25hp kohler command. The engine will run but only if the choke is pulled completely out. I have rebuilt the carb, and replaced ALL gaskets, and hoses. The bulb is new new water separator and tank is ok. We have the dam gas with ethanol in it. I did not replace the Accelerator pump since it was not in the kit. I think this is the problem. Please help me get it fixed, it started this problem last year. the engine would not idle unless the choke was pulled out a little.

Did you change your air filter?

yes. I have noticed that sometimes I have to pump the bulb to keep the motor running, I am thinking it might be the fuel pump bad of the Accelerator pump in the carb. it was stretched an awful lot!!
