Post 23 van with stag1/2?
Sending off the 23van mini in a month to get the EVT Stage 1 kit but Im dropping the muffler and adding stage 2 headwork. Plan on just modifying the original muffler. I can run 4450 OOW stock now with a bad prop so its probably closer to 4300 OOW actually. Back when the prop was good I could hit 26+ by myself on a 1542 jon. Just poking around to see if any of you guys have modded the 23vans and what kind of increases you got in different aspects, rpms/mph/hp etc? How many rpms did you gain/have to drop with a prop? I hear the 23 responds very well to mods, just seeing what yall got. Thanks for the help.

I don't think there are many peeps with modified 23's, they usually just go bigger.

Seems like thered be a couple with all of the "25hp" restrictions around. Maybe somebody will speak up before too long.

Have you tried searching? They have been talked about numerous times. If you can't find anything, EVT is the place building most of them. They should be able to give you an idea how they perform.

Also, I would think you would be able to switch to the big blade prop. That should give you better overall performance and help to keep the rpm's down. May need to change gears out to spin it but I wouldn't think so. You should gain somewhere's around 10hp, and that prop is designed for the 35. Should work fine.
