who here uses water fuel seperator and the pros and cons of it. im looking into to putting one on due to the fact now most fuels have ethanol. |

Pros: seperates water from fuel Cons: one more thing to maintain or break one more thing to get in the way I have one on every boat I own and have for almost ten years. Dumped a lot of water over those ten years. I like the ones with the dump valve in the bottom "bowl". I usually mount them under the motor to be out of the way. Also, if I spill when draining it goes right into the sump to drain overboard. |
