 Re: My New Ride
Im not a good guestimate for the weight of items maybe Uncle j will chime in but I would say about 350 give or take a little.

 Re: My New Ride
like I said im not sure on the weight, I dont know how to figure all that shit out, but when I can lift the whole boat off of the trailer by myslef from the transom it should run good. 1/8"

You said it felt lite. Mow much you think it weighs for shits and giggles?[/quote]
dfou is comming up with around 450# on his formula. Like I said I am not a good judge on guessing weight of items but it just seems to weigh less than that.

 Re: My New Ride
Jamie grab it from the front you then feel the weight of the boat. It rolls up on the rake and make it feel that way

 Re: My New Ride
Did the whole boat come off the trailer or did it just pivot on the rake? You would have to be a cock strong SOB to pick up someting that length and weight. Unless you're a Skunk Ape

 Re: My New Ride
If you actually get to weight it post up the weight so I can know how close my estimate was. Someone else may know but I still think 450 is pretty light for a hull like that

 Re: My New Ride
Well went run the boat this afternoon and with 2 people it will run 31 MPH at 4100 Rpms on a older stock motor. There was no current and flat calm water about 6' deep, But the boat was completely empty with only 2 gallons of gas and a battery. Here is the kicker this speeds were ran with a brand new mut buddy bigblade, some body gave him the prop for free so that is what he is running. I will try out a GTR prop tomorrow and put up speeds if they change. I am very happy with this boat.
thanks again Uncle J

 Re: My New Ride
Just a pic sitting on the water, this boat will be painted digital camo. Stencils should be in by the end of the week.

 Re: My New Ride
Looks good, that thing sure doesn't draft much judging by how high it's sitting on the water.

 Re: My New Ride
Jason makes a good looking boat.....I always thought he had some of the best lines...it dosent look like the front end has the rise most of j's boat ive seen, prolly the pointed front end toned it down.....

 Re: My New Ride
No he hated doing it this way, this was how I wanted it. This is the reason it has a slight V in the bottom then flatens out.
