Working on an old 14'x32" Used one quart of base paint and one can of spray. Camo grass from Walmart plastic flowers. Opinions but do not need a lot of smart ass comments. |

A shi# load of cash. Used Lowes exterior flat enamel for the base coat. |

X2 on contrast. When I painted my boat I used alot of dark colors and it looks great up close, but get far enough away you can't see the details and it is a big black blob. I learned this and when I camoed my blind I did burlap strips that run the whole length from the top to the water line like limbs for an extra deminsion. My background was avery Buckbrush so it is realitivley dark, I had some almost black strips of burlap and right next to it there is one that is a very light tan. From 20 yards it looks just like the rest of the brush around it. |
