Anyone out there with a phowler boat that has the fold down platforms/steps on the back of the transom? I am thinking about having a local welder make some for me as the the main phowler plant is 5 states away and was hoping someone might post a couple of close up pics. I would be especially interested in a pic showing the hinge at the bottom or however they attach at the bottom. Thanks for any info.

Go buy a cheap hanging deer stand. I paid $15 for mine and cut it down a little bit and put it on myself. Just bolted through the transom and siliconed everything.

I bet Phowler would ship you some of their steps to install yourself.

Nope. Already called them and they Say they make each set from scratch. No off the shelf parts to ship.
