Post subject:  lights for compartments

I am overhauling a 16' ft Go-Devil with 23Hp Go-devil long tail. My question of the day is lighting. specifically compartment lighting. I am looking for some LED lights that i can just run in series. Any ideas? Thanks.

Probably gonna start something, but here goes. Lights suck. That probably doesn't apply to the folks hunting in the woods, but around here, you can usually see pretty good once your eyes get adjusted, nothing I hate to see more than an out-of-towner who didn't do any scouting, lost first thing in the morning with a boat load of guys donning miner's lights on their heads, with 2 10-million cp spotlights, hauling through the marsh cause they can't find the blind they drew for the day, running every thing but the game warden out of the marsh. Looks like a frigging ufo coming. Your cell phone or a little flashlight won't do when you drop yer shit in the boat? Just a thought. ;)

I second the Toller lights. Lifetime warranty if needed. Call Brad and he will hook you up. Great lights.

Yeah I kinda did rant out didn't I. I guess I just like the simplicity, I hate extra wires and junk in the boat that may go bad. Then, my boat is an empty hull too, no compartments to dig into in the dark. I bet those push lights that take batteries for closets and stuff would work good for ya.

X3 on Toller's LED's i just installed mine and they are crazy bright i will take a pic in the dark for ya. I have 9 in the boat and 1 in the front compartment... very nice!!!

Not something your navigating with, flip em on when your setting up the blind throwing out decoys and getting everything ready for shooting time.

I have 6. 2 under the edge of the extended bow, 2 under the transom corner braces, 1 in the bow hatch and 1 in the seat box. If you look at the pics on the toller site you get the idea of how bright these tiny lights are. Every time I flip them on someone else is sold on them.

sorry it took me a few nights to get some pics taken. It was really easy to run the wiring up the sides of the bracing. Then some ziptie anchors and zipties to make it clean and keep the wires tucked in. Like i said earlier i have 9 of em. One on each side of the bracing would be plenty (8) then one in the front compartment if you felt the need. The crimps in the middle make the perfect angle to point them down to the floor.
