Should be a good setup for a 27 at first glance. Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk 2 |

That'll be a good match. Perfect little 2 man loaded or 3 man light rig. |

I had that same hull with a GDLT 25. With just me (200#) it ran 24. With a three man load high teens. |

Now I'm reading these are bad for throwing people out in rough water. Even with the amount of rake on this particular boat? We talking chop or big boat wakes? Forgive the question but here in Virginia a skiff is fiberglass and has the word Carolina in front of it lol |

It's not a good deep water boat. Very good in swamp and mud. I road it in cypress swamp in Louisiana. And it slides like a sum bitch. |

i hunted out of that boat with previous owner several times. He had a 27 prodrive on it and with a bare boat it did about 23 mph. With his blind on it and 2 men and a kid it would do 16-17 mph. I really liked that boat. Yeah it would slide but nothing a lil tiller time cant take care of. |
