Built a trailer to haul a boat on the back and a side by side or atv on the front. It would sure be nice to be able to tote both to AR, rather than having to pick which to take or leave. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm thinking it'd be a good spring/fall project.

I think it would be a cool build. Do a side loader for the ATV/whatever..and a nice boat trailer behind. Gonna be bump'n 30 foot + on that haul.
Couldn't do the ATV/ whatever behind the boat because of obvious reasons.
The only problem with tandem trailer haul is its a $@#$# to back up. My 2ยข worth.

It's not slow....its big...and you just see it for a long time.

I thought about just loading my 4 wheeler in my boat this year and towing it. 4 wheeler only weighs about 500lbs so the trailer could handle it.

they make a rack thay you put in the bed of your truck to load the four wheeler on and off of with out having to take the trailer off, it is made out of heavy duty aluminum with tie down rails all the way around, i think they're called bull dog atv carriers. its not quite what your looking for but its an option.

Boys... your not gonna get a side by side in the back of any truck... he is talking about a trailer build.

It's not slow....its big...and you just see it for a long time.

thanks for all the replys. Hauling it in the bed of the truck is a good idea, but just like every other duck hunter its filled with a dog and hunting crap. I'm contemplating whether it ouwld be better to build from scratch or try to find a tandem bass boat trailer and do a conversion.

If I start from scratch are regular trailer axles the same as boat trailer axles?

Go to a trailer place. They will have all parts needed as well as the advice needed to build a homemade.
