Here is my 1854 extreme Cc rig. Didn't get to put it in the water yesterday because of work.

Can't wait to hear more about this rig. I'm leaning toward something very similar for my next!

Lost plastic wing nut that holds air filter cover on. Don't know what happened I guess it wasn't tight. Gonna try to get a lock nut and a big fender washer to get me thru the weekend.

just incase you man not be aware and once you have already lost a pretty common part. Go double check your crankcase bolts and make sure they are 200inlbs if you dont have torque wrench make sure they are pretty tight nothing crazy. i checked mine before my boat hit the water and 4 of them were loose.
its a good idea to randomly check these bolts as well as the air filter cover nut bc they are known for being loose

I'm going to check every nut/bolt tonight from top to bottom.

Post subject:  Re: New boat.

Put a small screw in the air filter cover nut to keep it from backing out.
