This metal enclosed pair - one flood one spot from GoDevil - works very well and has no back glare at all - I rigged mine to be removable...
You could easily fab up the same - if you are on a budget - or buy direct from them....
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I have the Pro-drive setup and like the mobility and they remove if you want to take them off.

Here's a link on how to make one if you don't want to spend $70+ http://www.drundel.com/hunt/hardhatlight/

I don't find that the glare form a HH light is detracting. I have had head lights on my boats and they always get tore up. A HH light is always pointed where you are looking.

Re: What kind of lights would you guys recommend? Driving lights
I have driving lights and 2 HH lights... I like being able to scan both banks to look for hunters and dekes that may happen to be in my spot On long runs down the ICW a HH light makes it nice to hit the next marker buoy but a lot of the times I'm running dark under the moonlight and stars but back bayous I use my HH light

Sand man,
Thanks for the instructions on the HH light. I would be finish with mine but had to order the light from Grainger. I'll let you know how it turned out.
