Post subject: | Need Help |
I just got my first mud motor rig and need suggestions or solutions.... I have a 1448 fisher all welded boat with pods on the back, and a 23 gator tail surface drive. The problem im having.... When running, water splashes up or well it roosts up from the sides of the motor(both sides between the pods and the bottom of the motor) right by the transom and splashes into the boat. Any help on fixing this would be appreciated |

IT doesn't sound like you have the right setup there padna...Find out if you have a short shaft or long shaft motor and ask what the transom height should be for your motor and measure the boat.. And cut or weld as needed!!! |

If the motor/transom hieght is correct you may have to move the pin in the mounting bracket, this may get the bottom of the belt housing out of the water. |
