Found a 2007 1754 war eagle for sale not to far from me.... Was wondering what y'all's thoughts are as far a hanging a 35 MB on the back. I currently run a 1542 alumacraft (riveted)with the 35 and that is going to fall apart soon lol. I was looking for a 1648 range boat but came across this one. What do u think about a boat that big......?

I have a friend that ran a MB35 w/ mikuni an exhaust, it ran pretty good he could haul a big load but wasn't a speed demon if your wanting speed

That's my rig exactly! not real fast, empty with just me bout 26mph. Stock motor, I have to play with the trim to get it. Loaded with two buddies, dog, and decoys, bout 20--21mph. Handles fair, looses power in turns in deep water.

How fast does that 1542 run with the 35?
