I priced out a '14 GTR 35/ Extreme 1754 today... Reverse Plate, Spud kit, troll motor wiring, that's about it.

$16,807

$18,643 after TTL.

Really? Does this sound accurate? Never in my life would I have thought I'd have to pay close to $20,000 for a set up as basic as this.

Sounds about right. Try going custom. Might be able to shave a few thousand off.

Are you wanting an accessory package? These are the numbers I got for what you are wanting except for the trolling.g motor wiring.

Ive got you closer to 13,520 without trailer and 15,290 with trailer. Thats no TT&L

Spud pole kit -185
Engine w/reverse plate- 7200

Id get a custom boat. I ended up paying about $14k for my boat motor and trailer. I got a 35GTRw/reverse plate. 1854 with huntdeck, aluminum gas tank, 3/16 bottom and transom 1/8 everything else, trolling motor mount, and 32in enclosed deck. got a 20 ft galvanized trailer for $1400. $14k is after taxes and everything. But like everyone said you still have to get a bat and all that stuff but you can get it for way cheaper than $500 that gatortail wants. Only other major expense i will have is painting the boat and maybe a trolling motor. I prolly paid $250 for batt, running lights, switches, and bilge pump. I got my wiring from extra wires at work.

Yap buddy just got his 1754 last week of duck season (Last week in Jan) ordered it in first week of Oct. Just adding the extreme hull to it was 1600-1700 bucks.

I understand. your paying for a brand. no different then GatorTrax. but with a brand comes yrs of trial / error and the cust service to back up any issues you may encounter.

I looked at two different dealers for quotes one dealer gave me two, both I the 25k range with a great break down of everything, the other was a 25k mark which was just a number that would get me a loaded boat and motor package that would have "all the bells and whistles". It seems that ya really do have to pay to play.

Thats price sounds about right to me. Mine was a little over $20,000 before taxes but I also added the stage 1, the trolling motor and removable mount, duck blind, and rod box. You got to pay to play but if your wanting to save some money just keep your eye out for a good used rig. I just think buying a used mud boat is like buying a used sports car from a teenager. Its better to pay a little more and know exactly what kind of abuse your motor has been through.

Dealers charge and arm and a leg extra for small things like wiring, gas tanks, batteries, set up etc. you can save a ton if money ordering direct if you have a way to go get it.
