I have attached a pick of my boat as it was being built. This pic shows the frame work with out the welded in floor . I want to place the fuel tank just past the longitudinal braces in the bow of the boat. Is it wise to drill through the lateral brace ( the one the longitudinal braces are welded to) to run the fuel line through?

It shouldn't be a problem, but I wouldn't run a hose. I would use stainless tubing and be done with it. You will catch hell changing out the hose. Well unless you have gutters.

It wouldnt hurt anything, but would be hard to get to if something happened to the line. I would run half pipe down the side to run your hoses though.

I like the stainless idea, do you use compression fittings to transition to the regular gas line?
