Fixin to make a split seat out the huge bench o my grizzly. and take all dat foam out! any one has done this? gimme some tips

I cut the middle our of my 2 benches and left small pods on each side which I put seat mounts in. The pods also house my speakers, led lights, 12 volt outlets and switch panel. I ran lengths of angle aluminum from side to side to try to maintain some of the integrity and support that the seats gave my hull. Did away with all the foam. Hopefully I never need it.

Yea i was thinking about supporting all the outer edge of each side with some angle aluminum and using it to house my battery and make a switch panel under my seat.

yes, it was very easy. Layed it out with a sharpie marker. drilled a couple start holes and used a jig saw. Made the bottom and end caps but I don't have access to alum welder so i paid a shop to do that.

I'll post another picture today of the other side....thats where my switch panel and rev limiter box is mounted

here is the other side, I mounted my rev limiter in the watertight box and have all my wiring in there
