Post Battery and Bilge
Time to adjust a few things and was wondering what's the best way to secure/mount battery trays and also bilges on my 18' gtr with hunt deck. Looking to keep both batteries in the back.

Thanks

on my old boss's express, the boat dealer just ran screws thru the floor of his brand new boat to secure the bilge pump. if I remember right he screwed the boat to the wooded bunk on the trailer. 3 times. lol

do not do this.

On the bilge I just use an epoxy to glue the base down just be sure it's where you want it. I like the tsunami pumps cause you can buy a new cartridge if it goes out and just snap the new pump into the old housing
As far as the battery trays you'll probly have to try to go across the ribs somehow. . . I guess it depends on your boat

For my bilge I had a bracket made that I secured the pump to that holds it just off the bottom of the boat. The bracket is sort of L shaped and screws into the top of my ribs in the back where they are exposed. As far as the battery I have a box built into the boat that the plastic battery box is strapped to.

Thanks for the ideas. I might try the L bracket. We hunt in boot sucking mud so definitely have to keep the pump off the floor.
