Post Mud Motor Restrictions?
Quick question....

thinking of getting an 18x54 with a 38GTR. Are there restrictions on using these in the marshes or duck preserves? Hunt and fish the Texas Gulf Coast, especially upper.

Don't know about the 38; but, there is a 40 being demoed out there right now.

All of the horizontals. Briggs is testing them out.

lol....thats pretty damn funny. I have a 39 and a 43 Briggs I am demoing too....if I were related to any of these Briggs out there, it would be the toilet guy knowing my luck.

on a serious note forgetting the typo...i don't see much downside on a mud boat. I got hard into the offshore scene only to see that the EDF and commercial industry has all but eradicated recreational fishing there, especially red snapper and grouper. I dont want to move over to a MM only to find out i can't use the thing where I would like...

btw, screw the "38"GTR, I saw that HOSS75.....gotta get me some of that!

That 40hp does well on a Boss. There is a test motor in Thibodaux. However, 3 HP will not make a bunch of people jump up and buy one. An exhaust and a cam alone would get you over 40hp on a 37.
