Pirogue repair
I have an old Fin & Feather that needs some tlc. Ive never done any glass work. It’s got several cracks in it and it leaks pretty bad. I’m wanting to try to patch it up though and hopefully get through this season. Question is where some of the cracks are it has created kind of a void. I’m gonna get the stuff from Walmart to fix it. Do I need to fill the crack with something like bondo before covering with mat and resin or can I use resin or resin jelly as a filler and then cover with mat? It’s never gonna win a beauty contest no matter what I do and I’m cool with that. Just wanting to make it water tight again. It’s a duck killing machine and I’d really like to keep the tradition going with it if possible. Thanks

Re: Pirogue repair
Go to West Marine and get their G-Flex epoxy. It'll stick to anything, become hard/tough as a rock and will be waterproof
