How does a beavertail blind work with a longtail is it in the way for swinging the motor around for trailering and what size should I go with for a 1752 with 72 inch gunnels |

I have an older version of the beavertail 1600 on a 1754 war eagle. Fits just about right.. maybe an inch or two short on one of the sides so a size up might not be a bad idea. Love the blind.. keeps the wind off you. I run a mud buddy short tail so can’t help you there. Used a pin instead of a screw on the long folding beam so I could just unlatch it to move around the tiller for set up/ take down. Not sure if that’d work on your long tail. Hope it helps. |

The hinge plate gets in the way of swinging the motor around. I have had 2 and love them for the ease of use. When I had a long tail I would just strap the motor down by the handle when the blind was on the boat. |
